For individuals seeking a core understanding of a wide range of wines, this qualification explores the major grape varieties of the world and the regions in which they are grown. Through a combination of tasting and theory, you’ll explore the factors that impact style and quality and learn how to describe wines with confidence. Upon successful completion you will receive a WSET certificate and lapel pin, and will be able to use the associated WSET certified logo. The Level 2 Certification course covers the wines of the world and is followed by a one-hour multiple choice examination.
Lindsay Pomeroy is the first and only Master of Wine (MW) in San Diego/Temecula (and 1 of 45 in the US) and has been teaching WSET since 2009. Click here to learn more about Lindsay.
