We are pleased to announce a Series of blind tasting workshops to be held on Saturdays. These will take place at the Neptune School of Wine classroom at Laguna Culinary Arts in Laguna Beach. These workshops are excellent Blind Tasting practise for students involved in preparing for the exams of the various governing bodies, or wine lovers who want to hone their tasting skills.
There will be one session of 2 1/2 hours beginning at 9:30 until Noon.
The format will be written and wines will be tasted in two flights. There will be between 6 and 8 wines tasted blind per session. Peter will discuss the wines at the end of each session. Students who do not have their tasting grids memorized will be allowed to bring one with them, others are encouraged to write their tasting notes using the grid from memory.
The workshops will accept registrants on a weekly first-come, first-served basis. Registration will open each week on Monday morning for that week's upcoming workshop. The fee for each workshop is $45 and is non-refundable.
