Independent Research Assignment

Two briefs will be published on 1 August each academic year, one title for submission by 31 January of that academic year, the other for submission by 31 July of that academic year. The two briefs can be found in the Resources section of the online classroom, along with a document containing guidelines, submission procedure and FAQs and a separate document containing the cover sheet for submission.

D6 carries a 10% weighting.

The Unit D6 Independent Research Assignment is a 3000 word research paper, with two titles published each school year to choose from. Students choose the subject that most interests them over the 3 year registration period and then submits their paper in either the corresponding January 31 or July 31 due date.

The cost to enroll in the D6 unit is $200.

Assignment 1: January 31, 2024 submission – Low and No Alcohol
Registration ends January 17th, 2024
Assignment 2: July 31, 2024 submission – Regenerative Viticulture
Registration ends July 17th, 2024
