For individuals seeking a core understanding of a wide range of wines, this qualification explores the major grape varieties of the world and the regions
in which they are grown. Through a combination of tasting and theory, you’ll explore the factors that impact style and quality and learn how to describe wines with confidence.

Upon successful completion you will receive a WSET certificate and lapel pin, and will be able to use the associated WSET certified logo.

Wine samples tasted: 36

Total qualification hours: 28 hours; 17 hours of class including exam, 11 hours of private study.

Schedule:  Tuesdays from 6:00 to 8:00pm
July 1 through August 18, 2025
Exam: August 26, 2025

Registration:  $899.00, including all course materials, wines tasted, and the exam fee. 
 

Materials will be handed out at the first class.
Please note registrations made less than two weeks before class may not receive manuals at the first class.
