Virginia Willcock Winemaker Master Class
Thursday, October 5th
6:00 - 8:00pm
Neptune School of Wine is honored to host winemaker Virginia Willcock for an exclusive meet the winemaker master seminar.
Virginia is the Chief Winemaker behind some of Australia’s most critically acclaimed wines, at Margaret River’s founding wine estate, Vasse Felix established 1967. Her insatiable curiosity for the role microbiology plays in grapes and vineyards in making more environmentally expressive wines has been an inspiration for many other producers around Australia. This has driven the revolutionary development in winemaking style at Vasse Felix, and in particular her work with wild-yeast fermentation in Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.
She is also one of the most awarded winemakers in Australia and as such is a primary representative of the incredible quality of the region. Her bottom-line philosophy on winemaking is "Make the wines you love to drink." You can read more about Virginia here.
