For individuals seeking a core understanding of a wide range of wines, this qualification explores the major grape varieties of the world and the regions in which they are grown. Through a combination of tasting and theory, you’ll explore the factors that impact style and quality and learn how to describe wines with confidence.Upon successful completion you will receive a WSET certificate and lapel pin, and will be able to use the associated WSET certified logo.
Level 2 Course Pricing
The Level 2 Certification costs $830 for the teaching, all course materials, and the exam.

The Level 2 Certification course covers the wines and spirits of the world and is followed by a one-hour multiple choice examination. The course is divided into roughly 50% wine tasting and we taste over 45 wines in the series. Please email Lindsay for more information.

The Advanced Certification costs $1390 for the teaching and all course materials. There is a flat $150 discount passed onto students who have taken the level 2 program from me. 10% booking discounts if you enroll with at least one other person.

For individuals seeking to delve deeper into the world of wines, this qualification provides a detailed understanding of grape growing and winemaking. Upon completion you will be able to assess wines accurately, and use your understanding to confidently explain wine style and quality.Upon successful completion you will receive a WSET certificate and lapel pin, and will be able to use the associated WSET certified logo.
The Advanced Certificate is a unitized course, covering wines of the world in considerable depth, and students are required to prove competency in theory and tasting. The examination for the Advanced Certificate is in 2 parts: a theory exam of 50 multiple choice questions and 4 short-answer questions, plus a tasting examination consisting of a blind tasting of 2 wines. All course materials, program syllabus, examinations and registration are overseen by Peter Neptune of Neptune School of wine, WSET CENTRE 838.
